How StudyRoom works

StudyRoom is built around one idea: you learn by doing, getting feedback, and coming back at the right time.

1. Understand
   Each topic starts with what it is and why it matters. Explanations focus on the method, not just the answer.
2. Try
   Answer a question in the format you will meet: multiple choice, numbers, short answers, filling gaps, ordering steps, matching, or a written answer.
3. Get unstuck
   Up to three hints, from a gentle nudge to a specific pointer. Using hints is fine — your progress counts what you solve on your own.
4. Check and correct
   Instant marking for objective questions, with the reason behind the answer. Written answers come with a model answer and a checklist to compare against.
5. Retain
   Spaced review brings each topic back after 1, 3, 7, 14 and 30 days. The Mistake Clinic gathers what you got wrong.
6. Show it
   Monthly learning checks mix topics under time, like a real paper, so you can see what has stuck.

What we don't do

• No videos to sit through and no chatbot guessing at your answers.
• No promises of grades. Practice feedback is guidance, not an official SEC mark.
• No public leaderboards of students.

Every practice question is original StudyRoom content written to match the published syllabus topics. We never copy exam papers.
