Read the passage: Transcript: Planning a Class Podcast
Four Second Years are planning a class podcast about their town's history. MAYA: Okay, so we have ten minutes to decide our first episode. I'll keep time. Ideas? JACK: The old railway station. My grandad worked there. TOMÁS: Or the flood in the 1950s? There are photos in the library. MAYA: Both good. Ruth, you haven't said anything yet - what do you think? RUTH: Um... I like the flood idea, but I'm worried. Would we be able to interview anyone who remembers it? TOMÁS: Fair point. Probably not many people. JACK: Whereas my grandad's still around, and he has loads of stories about the station. RUTH: So maybe we start with the railway, because we have a real voice, and do the flood in episode two once we've done research? MAYA: That builds on both ideas. Does everyone agree? TOMÁS: Yeah, that makes sense. JACK: Agreed. I'll ask Grandad tonight. MAYA: Great. Ruth, will you take notes so we can report back to Ms Daly?
