Read the passage: Briefing: The School Garden Survey
Your school's Green Schools committee surveyed 200 students about the neglected school garden. Here are the results. - 140 students (70%) had never visited the garden. - 110 students (55%) said they would use it if it had seating. - 90 students (45%) would volunteer to help with gardening once a month. - Most common complaints: 'overgrown', 'no benches', 'nobody knows it's there'. - Suggestions: a vegetable patch for Home Economics, a quiet reading area, a wildflower bed for bees. The principal, Mr Hennessy, has asked the committee for a written report with recommendations before the next Board of Management meeting.
