Leaving Cert Physics help
Need Leaving Cert Physics help? StudyRoom gives Leaving Certificate Physics students 530 original practice questions mapped to the course, with hints, worked steps and an explanation of every answer.
How StudyRoom helps with LC Physics
Physics is about applying a small number of laws to many situations, so each question shows the formula, substitution and units.
- 530 original questions across 35 topics
- Hints first, then a worked method, then why each wrong answer is wrong
- Spaced review brings back topics just before you would forget them
- Links to the official past papers on examinations.ie

Frequently asked questions
Is StudyRoom a live online Physics tutor?
No. StudyRoom is a self-study platform: questions, hints and explanations you can use any time. It does not offer live lessons or grinds. Many students use it to practise between grinds or classes.
Is StudyRoom free?
Everything is free during our November promotion, with no card needed. Teachers are free, and work a teacher assigns is free for the class.
Does it follow the Irish Physics course?
Leaving Certificate Physics topics are mapped to the NCCA specification (linked on the subject page), with 35 topics. Check your own school's level and specification year, as some subjects have revised specifications for newer cohorts.
Can I practise past papers?
Yes. StudyRoom links to the official past papers on examinations.ie for each year so you can try the real exam, and its own practice questions cover the same topics. StudyRoom does not copy the papers.
How do I get started?
Create a free account, pick your year and level, and start with any topic. StudyRoom suggests what to practise next and brings topics back for review at the right time.
